Happy Acne Awareness Month!

It's already halfway through this month, but I wanted to share some things about it before it comes to an end.

June holds many different celebrations. It’s the month of the summer solstice, marking the beginning of summer, sunshine, and warm weather.

If you are in the Midwest, you know we don't take our nice weather for granted. We cherish every moment we can spend outside. Many of you might be enjoying vacations or time at your cabin. I'd love to hear about the different activities you have planned.

Besides the summer solstice, I'd like to wish everyone a Happy Pride Month! This month is a time for recognition and celebration for all who embrace and support LGBTQ+ pride.

June is also Acne Awareness Month. Did you know that 85% of the population struggles with the skin condition known as acne, or acne vulgaris? It is classified as a skin disease caused by clogged hair follicles, with the main culprits being hyper-shedding and overproduction of oil. Even people with dry skin can get acne due to hormones, diet, genetics, and environmental factors.

60 million Americans, over half the population, struggle with acne, and 80% of adult cases are female. Are you part of the 80% or 85% who experience acne? This month is for you—and for me. I also struggle with acne but am learning how my body works, which products benefit my skin, and how to reduce flare-ups. I've noticed my acne personally flares up due to stress and certain foods.

Make sure to follow me for acne tips and tricks on Instagram Reels. I’m also trying to get more involved on TikTok for those of you who spend time there. Remember, you are not alone. Your acne is not a bad thing.

I am here to help spread acne positivity and help you feel more confident in your skin. Together, we can find ways to reduce flare-ups. Unfortunately, acne cannot be cured, but it can be managed. With the systems and products I use, I’ve been able to help clients reduce their acne by 80%, which is a significant improvement.

If you're looking to tackle your acne and achieve healthier, glowing skin, send me an email with the subject line "Acne Program Info." I’d love to share more information about the different acne programs I have available.
